Upon setting foot in the warm, semitropical Dominican Republic, Lorain County Community College surgical technology student Jeanette Hornby didnt think shed last one day, let alone two weeks. Just one look at the poor living conditions opened her eyes to a new way of life and turned her and her fellow classmates into humanitarians.
