Desmond Blades loses battle with cancer (The Jamaica Observer)

BUSINESSMAN Desmond Blades, former chairman of the Musson Group of companies, is dead. He was 80 years old. The Barbados-born Blades, who had made Jamaica his home, died Wednesday night in the United Kingdom where he was on vacation. He was ailing from colon cancer.

BARBADOS’ ONLY CRICKET MUSEUM is going down under. The Cricket Legends Of Barbados Inc. has renovated the basement of its Herbert House headquarters with designs of permanently moving the museum, the memorabilia and its artefacts downstairs within the next two months.
