The Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua will host international cricket again after passing an inspection by the International Cricket Council.

ICC lifts ban on Sir Vivian Richards Stadium

Sir Vivian Richards Stadium at Antigua has been re-approved for international cricket following a 12-month suspension. In February last year, a West Indies vs. England test match was abandoned after just 10 balls because the outfield at the Antigua venue was considered unfit for play. The International Cricket Council said the ground has passed an inspection by match referee Geoff Crowe.

Cycling Festival outside Dwight Yorke Stadium

The Tobago leg of the annual Beacon Trinidad and Tobago Cycling Festival will no longer be a major traffic inconvenience for the public because the organisers have decided to utilise another makeshift circuit at the Dwight Yorke Stadium (DYS) Bacolet instead of the Scarborough circuit.
