Jamaicans win men’s, women’s 100 meters in Osaka

Two-time Olympic champion Veronica Campbell-Brown and Michael Frater led Jamaica to 100-meter victories Saturday at the Osaka Grand Prix. Two U.S. runners won events — Michael Rodgers in the men’s 200 and Ginnie Powell in the women’s 100 hurdles. Joanne Cuddihy of Ireland captured the women’s 400.

Campbell-Brown wins women’s 100 at Osaka GP

Two-time Olympic champion Veronica Campbell-Brown of Jamaica has won the women’s 100 meters at the Osaka Grand Prix. Campbell-Brown finished in 11.02 seconds on Saturday for her first win in the 100 this season. Japan’s Chisato Fukushima was second with a time of 11.27 while Australia’s Melissa Breen was third in 11.47.
